The Trojan Race – August 29
Finishing in Athens, NY, if last year’s Trojan race was the Iliad, this year is the Odyssey! Paddlers start in either Henry Hudson Park, Selkirk or Kingston, NY, both are about 20-22 miles (picked 2-3 days out based on wind direction). Either direction will be tidal current supported. We are open to pretty much anything you can paddle, and we intend group racers into a limited number of categories in an effort to keep it simple and so we can offer substantial cash prizes to the winners!
Maritime Cup HRYRA Regatta – August 29-30
Hosted by the Kingston Sailing Club in Kingston, New York, this two-day competitive event is part of the Hudson River Yacht Racing Association (HRYRA) PHRF racing circuit.
2026 Annual Member Meeting – September 12, 1-6pm
Join us for Food, Fun, and Live Music at Ravena Coeyman’s Yacht Club in Ravena. Hudson River Historic Boat Restoration & Sailing Society’s Annual Membership Meeting is Saturday, September 12 from 1-6pm. We’re sailing the catboat Good Intent up to the gathering and will offer rides, plus others are bringing boats of all kinds, too, for more maritime fun. It’s a potluck so plan to bring something you like and others will, too. We’ll have beverages and more. Members and non-members alike are invited. No charge but donations to HRHB are welcome! Ravena is up the river on the west side, just north of Coxhackie.
No-Octane Regatta, Bolton Landing – September 26
Row! Paddle! Sail! Join in at the end of summer when the lake is quieter and let’s do some messing about in boats! The Bolton Landing No-Octane Regata is free to attend and participate. Donations will be appreciated.
Please register if you’re going to bring a boat and take part in the events.
