Sailing another Clinton Crane Classic

Volunteer Mark Weartherup had the joy of sailing on an Idem, an 1899 Clinton Crane classic designed specifically for the light winds of the St. Regis Lakes in the Adirondacks.

In the first photo you can see the minum crew.  From bow to stern they are Jib, Running Back Stays, Helm and Mainsail.

 

Here you see the very low freeboard.
