We’re Excited!

Eleanor will return to the
Hudson Waterfront
July 4, 2019!

— we’re pushing, but keep in mind —
restoration of a 1903 sailboat brings unexpected surprises
just as does any sail on the Hudson River

We began formal restoration in 2011 and with the support of over 150 interested members,
and our incredible crew of volunteers we have completed 90% of the work required
to achieve our primary goal of restoring Eleanor.

Can’t wait to welcome her graceful lines back to the city!

As an organization that strives to be environmentally friendly and acknowledges Global Warming,
we are pleased to offer a lecture by former Bard Professor Mark Lytle on
the environmental costs of consumerism.
It will be followed by a forum on what we will be doing between now and June
as we prepare for the relaunch of our wind-powered beauty, Eleanor.
